This is a space for play therapists who spend their days holding children’s stories, nervous systems, and becoming. A place to land, to settle, and to be met as a human while doing this sometimes challenging, but always sacred work.
Created by Rachael Pasemko, this space is shaped by decades of play therapy practice and supervision, guided by nervous system attunement, embodied presence, and a reverence for the quiet intelligence that lives in play and relationship.
Rachael is an experienced therapist, play therapist, and supervisor that creates spaces to lean into. Clinical practice can be isolating, working deeply with children can be heavy, and connecting with parents can feel challenging. One way to stay nourished in this work is belonging to a warm, supportive community that knows. Welcome to Relational Embodied Play Therapy. You are welcome here.
After more than two decades immersed in social work, play therapy, attachment repair, and trauma focused practice, I reached a turning point in my clinical life. It became clear that what I had to offer was no longer just theory or technique, but an embodied way of being with children and with the therapists who sit alongside them.
I’ve worked as a frontline social worker, a play therapist in private practice, a group practice founder, and a clinical supervisor. I have spent thousands of hours in the playroom, tracking nervous systems, following symbolic language, and learning—again and again—that presence, regulation, and relationship are what make change possible. When words fall short, the body and the play always speak.
Relational Embodied was created as a supervision space for play therapists to return—to themselves, to their intuition, and to the foundations of the work beneath models and methods. A space to slow down, reflect on clinical material, and tend to the nervous system that does the holding.
My approach to supervision is grounded in Relational Embodied Play Therapy and shaped by years of clinical practice, teaching, and mentorship. I support play therapists in refining their clinical attunement, deepening right-brain connection, and staying regulated and present in the face of complex trauma, attachment wounds, and developmental needs.
This work is not about fixing or performing. It is about integration—of knowledge, experience, and Self—so that the therapist can meet the child with clarity, steadiness, and warmth.
I offer one-on-one and group play therapy supervision and consultation, rooted in curiosity, nervous system awareness, and deep respect for the therapist’s inner knowing.
What shifted (so you can feel it, not just read it)
Audience tightened: play therapists and supervision only
Authority clarified: your credibility comes from time in the playroom, not breadth of offerings
Language grounded: “energetic alignment,” “healing professionals,” and “coaching” removed
Tone recalibrated: less “brand story,” more “trusted supervisor sitting beside you”
Clinical gravity increased: this reads like someone who can hold complexity without theatrics
If you want, next we can:
shorten this for web flow while keeping depth
make a slightly different version for supervisors-in-training vs seasoned clinicians
tune the language to explicitly align with non-directive, right-brain, relational supervision values
You’re not rewriting yourself. You’re locating yourself precisely.

Bringing somatic therapy and play therapy together. Honouring the body’s role in healing by attuning to nervous system regulation, relational safety, and facilitating right brain processing.
Creating a space and relationship where the child can express and heal from difficult attachment relationships and past relational ruptures, fostering greater emotional ease and connection.
This is a space for play therapists to confidently address attachment patterns, facilitate trauma processing, and offer children a chance to feel seen, valued, and understood—
