Rachael’s approach emphasizes a “bottom-up,” right-brained style of therapy, prioritizing the body’s role in healing and the relational dynamics that support growth. With a keen understanding of the nervous system and the effects of trauma, she worked alongside families to uncover new ways of connecting, learning, and healing. Her approach is holistic, always tailored to the individual needs of each child, while her client-centred methods allow her to attune to each unique expression of healing.
Rachael has a heartfelt commitment to supporting other therapists. She offers consultations and group supervision for therapists practicing play therapy, sharing insights on neuroscience, relational work, and the unique challenges of the therapy room. Rachael values the opportunity to help others grow in their practice, bringing her own experiences, challenges, and reflections to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for therapist development.
When she’s not working, Rachael enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, exploring nature on dog walks, and creative arts. Through every season of her journey, her dedication to helping others live with authenticity and ease has remained her guiding light.
